Emergency Care over Christmas

slide1

From all of us here at Whickham Dental Practice we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

So Christmas is now fast approaching. With only a few days to go till Christmas you might be wondering what we are doing over Christmas and how you can get in touch with us if you need us.

Well the practice will be closed the following days:

Christmas Eve Wednesday 24th December:  Closed from 12:30 – 17:00

Christmas Day Thursday 25th December: Closed

Boxing Day Friday 26th December: Closed

Saturday 27th December: Closed

Sunday 28th December: Closed

Tuesday 30th December: Closed

New Year’s Eve Wednesday 31st December: Closed

New Year’s Day Thursday 1st January: Closed

Saturday 03rd January: Closed

The Practice policy remains the same during the days we are closed, the Practice will be providing an emergency on call service for our Private and Care Plan Patients throughout the Christmas period. So what do you do if you have a dental emergency and you really need us? It’s really simple, ring 07914790593 and you will get through to the on call dentist. If they can’t answer straight away leave them a voicemail with your name and contact details and they will be in touch with you. The emergency service will be available until mid-day.

If you are an NHS Patient things are slightly different for you over Christmas. If you have an emergency on Tuesday 30th December or Wednesday 31st December then the number you need to call is 07914790593. If you don’t get through to the dentist leave a voicemail with your name and contact details and the dentist will call you back.

If you are an NHS Patient and you have an emergency on any other day over the Christmas period then the number you need to call is 07884384091.

Thank you for all of your support over the past year, we really appreciate it. We look forward to seeing you at your appointment in the New Year. Look out for our blogs on the website or keep informed through updates on Facebook and Twitter.
