Ladies Day

On Sunday April 1st we had a Ladies Day for to raise funds for research into Motor Neuron Disease which, unfortunately, has affected the families of two of our members of staff.

We managed to raise £350 by selling cakes and biscuits, books, DVD’s and CD’s and from donations from everyone who attended and even those that couldn’t attend. Beautician Michelle Haste provided makeovers and Donna Phillips from Silver Republic Jewellery Parties was there selling some beautiful jewellery. Both Michelle and Donna very kindly gave a percentage of their profit to the cause which we were very grateful for.

We would also like to say a big thank you to the Ponteland Waitrose Store who gave us, free of charge, a trolley full of goodies to eat and drink on the day.
