About Paul:
Paul originally hails from Lancashire before departing to study dentistry at Newcastle University where he qualified in 1991 with the prestigious prize for periodontology.

Paul has dedicated his whole career to the dental care of Whickham and is now in his 20th year at the practice.

After two further years of study, he successfully gained the Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons. Paul has a strong commitment to post graduate education and has a particular interest in the principles of Minimally Invasive Dentistry combining adhesive technology and preventive philosophies.

Outside of dentistry Paul has a keen interest in travel and sport. Having represented teams in football, table tennis and squash in particular, he now concentrates mainly on tennis. On a lower note, he supports Preston North End! He is married to Leony who is a dental hygienist.

The Godfather trilogy – for style and atmosphere Preston North End glory years…..a short film!

Genres- grew up with punk and indie, and then into britpop All time favourites bands- Squeeze, U2 Current favourite- Elbow

Favourite Books:
My latest travel guides! Currently Andalucia and Brazil Otherwise iPad/internet with whatever comes into my head – I carry it with me from room to room – very sad!

Claim to Fame:
Brief appearance with Jeremy Beadle on an out and about quiz show – went out in the first round before I understood the rules!
